Friends of the Earth – SPZ used this option for the event titled „Colorful town of non-profit organisation“ which took place in the Optima shopping centre in Košice. The event was organised for the third time by the Carpathian Foundation.  Shoppers were given information about waste management, waste prevention, voluntary frugality and about favouring local producers and sellers. These messages contrasted strongly with the location of the event because it looked like there were no „green“ preferences in such a place. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of that, a lot of visitors reacted with interest and expressed their support for activities of Friends of the Earth – SPZ.
